In Sculpture Class students will prepare a series of images, which will explore a variety of dimensional issues. This is a challenging class, in that the process of exploration will include a variety of Sculptural Techniques. We will explore both subtractive and additive sculptural processes. The materials used may include plaster, clay and soap stone.
Drawing skills will be utilized, as the students will need to prepare detailed drawings for all sculptures that are assigned. At times students will need to visualize an image from many views and be able to draw that viewpoint.
